This latest multi-media piece turned out very nicely! As usual, I started out with a rough vision, made a couple of key element sculptures and then let the piece drive itself to completion. Yes, that’s how it should work. I get a feel from this piece of “old world” style, simplicity and contentment in doing mundane things. This woman has been doing this her whole life and is happy doing so.
I wish I had captured the old woman’s face in the photos, but then again, the level of detail visible in pictures is lacking at best. I would like to keep this piece, but it could be sold – IF the price is right! ha ha!
