While I realized that the imagery for this piece was a bit cliche, I couldn’t resist adding the coyote to a scene that was supposed to focus primarily on the desert plants and cacti at sunset. My work has always had a bit of whimsy to it, so this piece is in keeping with that fashion. Why should art be so serious??
